Girls Who Code was founded by Reshma Saujani with a single mission: to close the gender gap in technology. Computing is where the jobs are — and where they will be in the future, but fewer than 1 in 5 computer science graduates are women. We created a Girls Who Code club in our school in order to learn about computer science and technology, and help close the gender gap. We also want to inspire other women to enter the field of technology.
